A night at the ballet
The principal dancers of the New York City Ballet shone even brighter than usual at this year's Spring Gala.
The company's Spring Gala is always a highlight of the cultural calendar, and this year's event - with actress Natalie Portman serving as one of the honorary chairmen - did not disappoint.
Held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, the evening included world premiere ballets by Peter Martins, New York City Ballet’s Master in Chief, and Benjamin Millepied, French born choreographer and former New York City Ballet principal dancer. Also making their debut on the evening were costumes by the fashion house Rodarte.
Adding extra sparkle to the evening were the principal dancers Tiler Peck, Ashley Bouder and Jennie Somogyi, who looked radiant in Forevermark diamond jewelry.
